As of June 8, 2020, AtlasVet has combined its previously separated teams and have expanded back to normal clinic hours! Also restrictions on nail trims and other cosmetic technician appointments have been lifted.
We are, however, continuing to social distance from our clients for the foreseeable future. This means no clients will be allowed in to the hospital, all clients are required to wear masks when interacting with our staff and all communications with clients will be done via phone or email. We are keeping in-person/face-to-face interactions to a bare minimum.
1) You can schedule an AtlasVet appointment with our Client Service Advocates and you can arrive either a) in your car or b) come to our front door.
2) When you arrive, please call (202) 552-8600 and a Client Service Advocate will let a technician know you are here and if you drove, where you are parked and the makes, model and license plate of your car
3) Then, either your technician or your doctor will call your cell phone to discuss your pet's health & reason for visit.
4) After this discussion, the technician will come retrieve your pet. Exams will not be performed in your car nor on the sidewalk. All exams and treatments will be performed in the clinic.
Please keep your cell phone handy with silent mode off during the entire appointment as a phone call is the only manner in which we will be discussing your pets' history, discussing treatment options, going over discharge instructions and taking payment.
