Our Beginnings
After residing on Capitol Hill for many years, Dr. Antkowiak and Dr. Miller started the Atlas District Veterinary Hospital (or AtlasVet) in January 2012. Their goal was to be able to live and work among the neighbors and friends that make their neighborhood the best in DC. Since its humble beginnings, AtlasVet has grown from a 2 doctor, 6 person practice to a 10 doctor, 40 employee hospital.

The clinic incorporates high quality veterinary medicine, the latest technologies, a friendly, knowledgeable staff and reflects the diversity and energy that personifies the primary neighborhoods we serve: Capitol Hill and the H St Corridor.
Our Mission
AtlasVet has a mission to provide client-friendly, high quality medicine to companion animals in the greater Washington, DC Area. We strive to provide this by
